About the Institution

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering:

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department was one of the first few disciplines that were started since the inception of the college in the year 1995. New courses were introduced subsequently and the existing ones were restructured to reflect the state of the art.

The Department has well qualified faculty and excellent facilities for research. The department has well-established Laboratories for Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Digital Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, and Computers. To add credit to the EEE Department, it has been ranked FIRST among 243 engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University.

Publications:

Faculty members are continually publishing the results of their research work as technical papers in national and international journals, and in conferences Many Students present technical papers in Student Level Paper Contests/National and International Conferences.

The department has a competent and committed faculty team. The faculty is drawn from the industry, practicing professionals, apart from academicians to enhance the delivery of academic programmes in the department.
