The Department of MCA is keen in organizing Conferences, Faculty Development Programmes, Quality Improvement Programmes, Seminars, workshops and National Level Technical Symposia for the benefit of faculty and students both at the Intra and Intercollegiate levels.

The department is also keen in Research and Development work and the staff and students strive hard to undertake projects that are useful to the society. Many VVIPs from the Industry and premier institutions have graced various occasions. To name a few, Mr.K.Jayaramakrishnan, VP, TCS, Mr.Ananthkrishnan, CIO, TCS, Mrs.Hemagopal, VP, TCS, Mr.Jayarama Krishnan, Former CEO, AMI, and many more. We have completed a collaborative project with AMI, a multinational company.

We are also very keen to take up socially relevant projects, and a website www.tnbloodonor.com that keeps track of the details of blood donors for the social cause of donating blood to the needy has been developed and maintained by our students.
