31st July & 1st August 2003 We had a workshop on “Networking” presented by Dr. S. Srinivasan , working in Information computer systems
5th August 2003 Mr. S. S. Shekhawat, B.E (hons), M.E (bits), MS (U. k), ITS , gave a guest lecture on “Access Networks” . He was working as Senior General manager, HTL Ltd.,. This lecture was immensely helpful for the student members.
6th July 2003 A seminar on “DSP, VLSI & Embedded systems” was given by Mr. N. Rajamani. He was a M.E. by qualification. He was the Vice President of Sands Pvt Ltd. This seminar was attended by student members who did not go to the industrial visit.
4th August -2004 Workshop on “Wireless Networks”  by Prof. K. S. Narayanan ,Director, Cavis Communication Ltd., Chennai
21st January 2004 Ms. Kavitha Krishnan ,working in TCIL , Chennai, presented a guest lecture on RTOS-Embedded Systems .This lecture was immensely helpful to all the student members of the IEEE –Student Chapter.
20th & 21st of January 2005 A Workshop on “TV trouble shooting & servicing” – was conducted for all the third year students. This was conducted by Mr. Charles – working in Best Eectronics, Chennai. This workshop was very useful for the students who had television paper on that semester.

of    August 2005
We had a workshop on   “Advanced Networking Technologies” presented by Mr. R. Senthilkumar & Mr. Ashok, working in Network solutions corporate training provider.
25th of June 2005 A seminar on “Digital Terrestrial Transmission” was given by Mr. S. J. D. Devasahayam. He working as a Director / superintending engineer, DOORDARSHAN KENDRA, Chennai. The student members came to know about how terrestrial transmission was done practically.
